Fire in the hole, Karl is on a roll! Day after day after day after...2 years later, amazing! You know the misses and I were watching the Michael J. Fox special last night, and yes, outside of wanting to shut the program off after 5 minutes, we wanted to see how far he and ABC would go to try to pacify the masses. It was amazing to see it unfold, basically the message: "Have a positive attitude, you can overcome anything! Look at this middle aged white guy with Parkinson Disease and how he is over coming his trials and tribulations in life!" Look at these baseball players, these communinal coop farmers, musicians, etc. they struggle, but they stay positive and take on life. My first thought was, hey Michael, how about you take a look at the majority of your Parkinson community that is the age between 45 and 55 and has been diagnosed for 15+ years, say a person living in Michigan or New Jersey or Pittsburgh, has had a blue collar or mid level management white collar job and see how they are doing at being optimistic, dealing with the medical care and drugs they needs on a daily basis and/or trying to live off fixed income assets at the same time because they cannot hold steady employment due to their condition. Second thoughts were, what are the true U-6 masses believing as they watch this program? Are they getting hooked and crooked into being pacified and being optimistic that the unicorn ****ting skittles will show up and make their lives and happiness better? While being diverted away from the realities of what their representatives and wall street are doing to them? Obama and his cronies are taking their turn at the trough and "getting theirs" now. Some of them are being pacified, remember the woman during the campaign who was sure Obama was going to fix her financial problems? Still not fixed, I bet, I'm sure she still has hope though so it's OK. As far as comparing Fox to others with Parkinson, blue collar is too far down, just try white collar engineers who are competing with off-shoring and H1B Visas - they can't get jobs and they can't pay their medical and they probably haven't saved enough to live off of either. I know lots of engineers with disabled wives or children that are out-of-luck without their jobs. At any rate, I think the unemployment figures soon will be so high that it will be shocking to everyone and none of us will be untouched in our day to day. What a Ticker. Based on the claims stated in the lawsuit, it sounds like it might have been a disguised looting operation, which is of course is not be to be confused with a pure looting operation.
