If Congress gets pitch forks and torches so should the TV news media as they are complicit by concealment. The newspapers already got theirs and are continuing to get theirs.

Margin, I will up you one: 3. All campaign contributions go into a pot to be evenly distributed, and capped at some nominal amount. Game the system and go to prison. I'm sick of "my" representatives ignoring the wishes of their consituents and sucking up to special interest money. I read recently that once in office, a congressman needs to sc**** up $20,000/day to stay in office. With the current system they have no reason to even anser the phone when I call. It does NOT need to cost millions to run a campaign. Get your face on TV (pick a channel, I already know which ones to watch based on my voting preference), state your case and we'll see you on election day. I do NOT need saturation bombing TV commercials of two candidates trash talking each other for an entire month preceeding an election. 4. Rod Blagojevich was groomed by the same Chicago political machine. He just got caught. The rest of the country doesn't realize it yet. The organizers at the Tea Party in Staten Island Tea party suggested a huge protest in DC was brewing on July 4th. This is second hand info, and I've gotten no word from the online Tea Party websites about this. I would definitely go if given the chance. Is there anyone on the inside that might help confirm this?
