They're all shameless thieves and liars. I've given up on federal-level politics. Working solely on the local/state level, and praying the corrupt and pustulant horror that is fed.gov falls under its own weight sooner rather than later... ---------- I say it's spinach, and I say the hell with it.

sent to Michael Steele and more or less (less) the same thing i told a GOP fundraiser back in Feb They asked for $. I asked "Did the GOP present a balanced budget alternative to the dem plan?" The answer "No" I told them to call me back when they did. Gen - Sadly I think both parties are so incompetent that they will not be able to capitalize on this.

The RNC has been taken over by the Country Club NE wing. Screw 'em until they regain the clue they seemed to have in '94. ---------- Maybe it was a birdy bread-bomber from the future?!

I stopped giving them my votes years ago. I have voted Liberterian in the last 4 elections. My candidates never win, but I'm at least not getting screwed by the person I voted for.

The RNC figures all it has to do is say the words "socialist" or "liberal" and half the country will immediately explode in blind rage -- so blind that they won't see anything the RNC is actually DOING. I don't know what disgusts me more, the fact that they keep trying this, or the fact that it seems to work. The Atwaters and Roves have driven the Eisenhowers and Buckleys from the party, and these manipulative faux-populist snakes are all we have left. You nailed this one square on. The Repubs in DC are still scratching their heads wondering why they aren't getting any traction with their small government anti-tax rhetoric. I have been in disagreement with KD on many things on politics. But I am in total agreement with this ticker. And I know you have been saying a lot of this for for a while. Once we agree that Republicans were lying to us for all these years. I am ready to stand behind your call.Quote:We will do no more work nor vote for any other action until each and every one of the banksters, scammers and frauds that destroyed our American economy is under indictment and facing charges for their criminal acts, and the improperly granted bailout funds - all of them - are CLAWED BACK from these frauds to the maximum possible extent. I will support anyone or any party do this. And I will support anyone who is calling for this as well. Saddly, how many people in this country even call for this? ---------- A good guy gets friendship, a bad guy gets laid. J6P get the bills, Bankers get the bonus. Last modified:

KD. This is one of the reason I like you. I think you have a lot of integrity. I was a liberal Democrat most of my young adult life. I became "interested" in the Republican party after "The Contract for America." I really dug that. Of course, nothing came of that. Now I just gravitate towards anyone who will at least acknowledge the original contract for America...the US Constitution.

RNC or DNC...which flavor of criminal do you like the best? These people only have power because of the tacit consent of the governed. The majority of the governed are idiots at best, so fixing things seems like a longshot. I'm beginning to root for a benevolent dictatorship.
