Gen I thought that a few weeks ago you said that you were talking to Martinez's office and something to the effect that "he gets it" What was that all about? As an aside, having received what I think was pretty close to a classical education, I was taught not to use caps, bold, or even the word "very" because it ends up diminishing the impact of the prose.

My wife has been complaining that I haven't been smiling lately. I keep telling her I'm trying not to breath out of my mouth. Ok Ok.. seriously... I remember telling someone in jest last year that the Govt should just nationalize all houses and hand them out according to need. I really don't think we are that far off. Damn that is a big font. I had to take off my reading glasses to read it.

While we shout from the rooftops, our "representatives" (and I use that term loosely) continue to sit back while Rome burns. I don't think these people are stupid and if you look at actions like the bankruptcy reform act, it becomes clearer to me at least they know exactly what they are doing and it's obviously not in the interests of the vast majority of Americans. I've said for a long time that this will end up being the greatest transfer of wealth we have ever seen (mostly away from the middle class and to a lesser extent the poor). Beyond just the transfer of wealth, it also is apparent that government power will only become stronger as more and more people rely on the government for support. It's WAY past time that people wake up to the fact that we need new representation before the hole gets any deeper.

BTW, For the record, I am an intermittently "cured" mouth-breather. An allergic, asthmatic with a long history of sinus operations, a jaw operation and a long list of medications that I consume daily to deal with the symptoms. Can we just legalize methamphetamine, so, I can have my pseudo-epinephrine back!
