Looks like I should see if I can still get a NINJA loan to obtain a mortgage to default on. Maybe a duplex to receive positive cash flow while defaulting on the mortgage. WI is non-recourse, so long as you don't sign away your right at closing. Looking for creative methods to generate capitol to pay for my bubble inflated tuition. Very well said. This is an outrage. I forwarded your ticker to my (in)distinguished representative Mr. Frank. I'd default if I could, but I'm a renter - saw where this was going and prudently rented - so now I don't even have the opportunity to default.

Something must be in the water today. I was practically pushed over the edge. Went to pay the mortgage today and just couldn't. I can pay just as easily next week, if I choose to at all. Interesting to read this tonight. When I read the FDIC plan this afternoon, I was floored. It's one thing for the banks to trick homeowners into refinancing and giving up their no-recourse rights, but for the government to do it........that's too much. And deciding which banks live and which ones die. And giving car companies money so they can buy and shut down their competition. And being the lender to the world. And having to bail out our individual states (if there's anything left after bailing out foreign countries). All while ****ing over its citizens. Too much. 2008-10-30 01:18:30

California is non-recourse. This Ticker needs to go balistic there. Home-paid for. No debt. Self employed. Self-sufficient. However, right now the cat's got my tongue, but when we hit the 12% marker of people who will in fact abort their mortgage payment, then I think it may be time to seriously look at seeing if there's 12% of the population that would get the states to retract the rights of these banks--and revoke their corporate license. It seems that the federal level of government is the main player in concentrating the power grab along with the bankers. Seems that the States are really taking a hit. ---------- As for all the Banksters-It's all said in one word: GOUT! 2008-10-30 01:30:18

Karl, I'm glad you said what you said. I can only hope people stop paying en masse. I am so disgusted, I think I'm going to draft a thread in the discussion board chock full of vitriol, anger, and disgust. Don't worry, if I do I'll post it directly into Bilge.

Well, I simply don't know what to say....... What you propose it to DEFAULT on your "word", that you WON'T pay back what you signed up for. Simply, ****ing amazing! And, this is YOUR plan, Genesis? (how much of your shorts have you lost?) WTF? I've wondered about you for awhile. I wondered if you had simply been too close. But now, I have a diagnostic idea about your plan........ You are a narcissist. You think that nobody counts except for you. Your heart is damaged, but you have a forum to spread the gospel. What part of being moral don't you understand? It's not about the rest of the idiots. It's only about what YOU do. Or don't do. Me thinks you have lost a bunch this side of the DOW. I also think that with your controls on the forum, you have over-reacted. This, so called "protest" edict of yours is simply schizophrenic at the core. Give it up, and think about what you propose. You are betting that you have enough Kool-Aid drinkers, that your ideology will make sense, and therefore be morally correct. You are wrong. You have trampled on all of us that practice the 1st Amendment to the Constitution. You say liberty, but you practice fascism. Your rules on the forum dictate that only the ones that kiss your ass, or the ones that pay the VIG will be heard. I, for one, choose liberty. And your forum is light years away from that. Sure, I'll be banned. I expect it. And, the sad thing is, you know it to be true. And, some of your followers think the same. I implore you to re-think your stance. Mike, its about doing the right thing. Who else is really doing that now a days? KD is one of the smartest and logical people out there. Time will tell who is right in this mess, but pointing out what you think are character flaws instead of understanding the mission is misguided.

There is no morality once you have been ripped off, ****d and robbed. Getting what was stolen from you to the best of your ability is both ethical AND moral. As for my trading, I'm doing just fine, but you can't see that, can you? Personal attacks? I'll leave that one there. One more, you're done. Mm, I'm pretty sure Karl has said before that he has no mortgage on his home. I may be wrong, but I don't think he has anything to gain by promoting this sort of civil disobedience. The consequences of defaulting on a mortgage are spelled out in the contract. I'm curious to know where you stand on what is happening to the country you honorably fought to defend. 2008-10-30 01:55:04

Banks deserve to lose until they are brought to their knees. They have done the same to many and the government that pays Mike's salary is complicit. Man, I think about the Vietnam era protests and why they don't happen anymore. I am afraid that the country has become too stupid to know and too lazy to care about what is really going on. When do we have that WTF moment? Another 9/11 or when Obama wins next week? Puts these pieces of **** in jail ALREADY!!!

Dan - correct. I have no mortgage, and thus would not benefit from such a thing. IN fact, I would lose as my home would go down in value as well. That's ok. BTW, it should go without saying that, since the to-be-foreclosed house is the mortgage-defaulter's major seizable asset, that he should join the great Tax Default 2009 along with millions of other ****ed-off and/or newly penniless Americans. -- Let the banks and the IRS fight over it!
