How is this any different than B of A (Lewis' & Thain's) conspiracy to defraud B of A investors and or American taxpayers? We need to demand that the FBI/DOJ does something about the big crimes and criminals that have devastated if not destroyed our Nation's economy; not just the unconnected "directors" at Credit Suisse. Mikey has a good point here. We all saw the headlines - BofA fined $33 million for failing to disclose to stockholders the compensation given to Merrill's big dogs through the deal. All presented as if "that'll teach em". Yet, if I could steal (yes, steal) $3.6 Billion, get caught, and face only $33 million in fines, shoot, I'd give up my day job. And so would the rest of you. Damn, Karl, why'd you ever give up that cushy CEO gig? Of course BofA investors should be ****ed, as should every investor, but in reality it is the American people who were ripped off as we ponied up the cash for the takeover. I understand that certain U.S. government employees may have encouraged this non-disclosure, this fraud. There it is, the smoking gun, right there in plain sight, yet no one has been indicted!? The stench is overwhelming.
