It's sort of the last straw exposed to my tired eyes. From the very top, corporations, Paulson, Greenspan, legislature, et alia, to the very little people, those who lied about their income to those who had great intentions but couldn't reject the bezzle - none of them. Bezzle from top to bottom all exposed.

When it comes to exploiting children, it's time to start boiling the ropes. Another great call to arms, Gen. Thanks. Couldn't believe it when the Baltimore prosecutor threatened to go after the filmmaker instead of ACORN. The corruption is so deep and systemic now, I despair for the future. Jbyer, on the surface the OFBCI sounds great! It's been my thesis that government suppresses true charity: It's an easy out; Not my job; The governments responsibility. If I read your comment right, you're saying we should have never got to the point where government is out competing charity. When you say, open the door... it seems that through competition for charitable dollars, government gains control of charity.

We should have never opened the door of giving federal money to these organizations. Now matter how much good you think your church can do with it it eventually makes the organizations dependent on the government and organizations like ACORN can get in too. That's what you couldn't get conservatives to understand back in 2001 when they thought this idea was the bee's knees.

The problem with getting anything resolved in the US right now is everything gets classed into which side of the political fence it belongs. You could murder and **** 20 people and if you declare yourself to be a [republican/democrat] you will immediately be defended by half of the nation.

Our church had a significant (civil) debate about whether to get involved w/ these gov't programs when Bush put them forward. To their credit they refused to apply, etc. because they realized that once they started chasing this money that then, eventually, someone else would be calling the tune; some faceless bureaucrat would have their hands in the church's business, etc. and that to get more money eventually they'd have to satiate that bureaucrat to get good references, etc. It has all happened to others and was/is completely predictable & certain.

Great strategy on the film maker's part. The additional tapes are released in response to the BS reactions of the ACORN officials. Let 'em cut their own throats. Heh. Nice strategy. I'm wondering how many more tapes he has. IMO, Everyone associated with that organization should be investigated. Including those who used ANY of their "services" to obtain loans or assistance. Beck and this filmmaker have ACORN by the balls. IMHO they made a HUGE mistake trying to fire back at these folks and claiming it was an "isolated" case with two "rogue" workers. How do you know that the tapes (all three) aren't fakes? Produced in a home studio somewhere? There are a lot of racist people out there that would stoop to such lows. The government is so hot on busting kiddie porn rings these days (if only to provide public distraction from the crooks on Wall Street) I'm certain that if there was really probable cause, the perps would have been arrested by now.

I have such enormous respect for Mr. O'Keefe, and like him or not, Glenn Beck has done this country a service. Glad you expressed how I'm feeling about this, Karl. Doctored !!??? Those ACORN workers didn't look like CGI'd pixel shaded people to me.... Now they have sunk to this !!???? Extensive video taped evidence is not enough now ? Deny,deny,deny seems to be the new party line,coming out 1600 as to 9/12,and to ACORN's child sex ring/tax evasion/home loan/political finance fraud exploits.
