Etz This seems to be the biggest question. I believe Fedup is handling donations from those who cannot attend. Try sending him a PM. Francynemarie is also handling some of the organization, you could try PMing her as well. Donations are badly needed as some of us are finding out that airline ticket prices are absolutely INSANE. Just as an FYI, Bear Sterns is NOT located near or even close to Wall Street. It is off of Park Avenue (between Park and Madison Avenue), around 46th or 47th street in mid-town.

Waiting for Fedup to check in. I'm sure he will give an update regarding donations. Thing is, we have like 3 separate threads going on this. The paypal account for donations is "no-wave@sbcglobal.net" I will email KD and ask if it is possible to add a link to tonight's ticker so that there's no confusion on where to go to donate. I do know that joe is sending thank you notes to each person as they donate. I'm not sure if there is a delay or anything with paypal between when you donate and when he receives the donation. But, if you don't get a thank you with 24 hours, you should definitely contact him because that might mean that he didn't get your donation??? (Or, if you used a different paypal name vs ticker forum name then maybe he's not sure who you are, I'm guessing?) Last modified:

I know that Joe is out for the evening so probably no word from him until late tonight. KD had suggested creating a post under "Breaking" because it will get the most eyes. I did that today and it's called "FED UP? TIME TO CLEAN THE STREETS". It's pinned so it won't go away. If we want to consolidate all the threads, then maybe we should move to FED UP under breaking and let this one die. The "MAN UP" thread should already be dying.

I checked the fedupusa.org site, but didn't find answers to my 2 questions. Does anyone know.. 1) Approx when the 7:30am protest will end? I might try to show up late (after 8am). 2) Is this the only protest planned for the day? I thought I remember reading something about a protest around lunchtime down on Wall Street.

Hi mateo_nj, I have answers to your questions: 1) No end time officially set, but I expect to be there for most of the work day (til 4pm?) unless we get run off by the police or we completely burn out. I talked to fedup(joe) a little while ago and we'd had $1250 come in so far at that point. We estimate that ideally we need about $2500 for airfare and hotel and cab fare for 3 people including a bit left over to print more flyers/petitions on the day of. For those who can't afford to go, I think it is all the more important that they be able to be there as they know first-hand the ramifications of what is being perpetrated by our government. A few people have pledged money that hasn't come in yet, so hopefully there's still more on the way....I'm not sure if there is a delay or not with paypal? Thanks to all who are coming and all those supporting through donations!
