This is a test. A test upon the American people. Nov. 4th, should we see success at the ballot-box, incumbent politicos who have wronged us so badly recent should be returned to their former employ, doing what-the-hell ever it was BEFORE they gained office and sold us down the river. Should we fail, don’t co

KD. Thanks from the other side of the world. I am 6 hours ahead of you and Shabbot observant so I will get to see the beginning of this and then turn off my computer for 25 hours. I want to thank you for all you have done and all you do. I am positioned well because of your advise and my family will get through this because of your attention to detail. You are appreciated.

No bear market rally today. This is the real deal today. This crash is needed. We need to bring back the true essence of what money is again.

Money has to be a measure of productivity. That means that you have to work (or be productive) in order to earn money. To receive money in any other way destroys the essence of money.

Every bailout that is implemented, every "liar loan" that is executed, every instance that money is received without earning the right to the money destroys its intrinsic meaning. Because of the easy money policies of the government and of the private sector, we now have an unproductive nation with its hands out to the government for more money. We need to get back our productivity again, and soon, so that this nation can get back on track again. It is the only way that our country can rightfully recover and be great again.

Hey I'm doing my best here to prop up the markets. I imagine a TF dancing banana will do more good than throwing $700 billion onto the mortgage crisis bonfire.

When you have a terrible earthquake that shakes your house to the ground do you clean the mess up and check your foundation before you rebuild or do you just start hammering the nails?

Thanks KD for all of your efforts.

I knew this place was special and different when I first came.

Which was why I was a contributor prior to their being any sort of contributors area or levels.

The clarity and lack of BS here and the inability to find it elsewhere is astonishing.

This saddens me beyond belief. My heart is in my stomach.

I wish everyone well.

Karl,

Thank-you for the education, your ethics, morals and truth in teaching us all.
You may not have been able to stop the impending doom (along with the help of many of your TF family) but you certainly have helped us all protect ourselves to the best of our ability. You have helped thousands of people. I hope you can at least take a smidgeon of comfort in knowing this.

KD,

Just wanted to say thank you. You have done more for this country than any of our elected so-called representatives.

Oblivion beckons and now the country, if not the whole world are heading into there. And all people in govt. can say is "we didn't know". But everybody here knows that you told them long ago. And have been telling them. And they ignored you.
