This is the final phase of a system in collapse - the fundamentals are eroding rapidly and yet people are pouring their money into worthless assets 'just because'. I'm actually more alarmed at the rallies than the tankage. I can't tell you how many people I know that have turned to equity-gambling. SO MANY people have lost sight of the basics. Build something. Develop something. Get out of the frigging house and meet somebody. And for all you TF'ers that constantly bitch and moan about market manipulation...I'm calling you all out too. Pull your liquidity or STFU. If it's all so unfair, well, pull out! That's a bs excuse Ssg and one that everyone touts around here. You all know the market has x amount of liquidity/market cap and that after that it's a zero-sum game since you have no idea what the other guy is going to do.

No, I'm not accusing her. I want to know when HER PAYING CLIENTS got her comments which she disseminated on CNBC. I MIGHT accuse them, if I get that information. She didn't. That was MAY. Two months ago. And her interview TOADY didn't contradict ANY of the Macro Call. The question stands - WHEN WAS THIS "RESEARCH" AND "CALL", WHICH IS DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED TO HER STATED BELIEFS ON THE ECONOMY AND BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT - DISSEMINATED TO HER PAYING CLIENTS? Maybe I'm a little more negative about the intelligence of society looking forward than you are. I've thrown morals out the door right now. I campaigned for Ron Paul and done other stuff. I've tried being the "good guy" and I must say it's done nothing but leave me unfulfilled. I don't see 1776 on the horizon- I see "Brave New World" where 95% of the population are serfs. to me its rather obvious: why would otherwise reasonable people suddenly change and say ridiculous things that would destroy their credibility? tin foil hat time suggests that "somebody got to them". Perhaps the Administration scared them, perhaps something worse, to keep reinflating the bubble, buy more time. Ever since I saw that "crisis is over" article in Time Magazine in May, its been full frontal realization that the "enemy" is right here. The problem is "they" are scared. These are temporary measures. We all know that things are probably a lot worse than even we realize. Hey KD, if you ever start suddenly singing "green shoots" then we know you succumbed to the Invasion of the Administration Body Snatchers" Try to wink, or give us a clue if you get Sopranoed on! ;)

Fronting is the oldest trick and game in the book. Whether she does or not is no skin off me. Meredith has been talking intelligently for a long time. She was telling people that consumer credit was going to explode months and months ago, and consumer credit was going to be the biggest hammer to fall on the economy. Whether or not she told her clients that? / m e h That's why I'm not anyone elses client. Who cares who can "say they were right" in the end. I don't give a whipstitch if I am right or not. I often ask new traders: "Do you want to be proven * right *, or do you want to make money?" So often, traders get involved in this trap of wanting to be 'right', and 'I'm right about where this is heading', they forget it's not about being right as to the macro economic flow. I'm deflationary, and I think the entire thing will collapse. But what do I care if I'm right in the end? I trade the tape. If the tape says short the dollar, although I'm deflationary, I short the dollar. I don't care whether Meredith is right or wrong, or if she can claim being right in the end. Meredith claiming being right doesn't make me money. I enjoy her thoughts. But that's all they are. Her thoughts, not mine. I've said it before, and will say it again. The United States, as many people believe it to exist is done, and over. It has been for a while. What you're seeing with corruption is simply the symptoms. You can't fix it. You can't repair it. You can't 'get involved and call your Congressman' to improve anything. It will do no good, because the patient is already dead. Zero patriotism, zero animosity. There's just no emotion period. Wisc- I wouldn't read anything into my words. Personally this is one of the first bizarro world things I have heard Meredeth say. I simply meant if KD suddenly changes his tune, then he is likely being "coerced" into doing so. Call it front running? Ok. But either she has become more flagrant, OR consider the possibility this is some sort of aberration or event to help out the gubermint. I said "tin foil" hat, mind you. Last modified:
