Quote:What's worse, both parties and the mainstream media are unwilling to examine this issue from the top down except to the degree they can make political hay on the other side of the aisle, willfully turning a blind eye to the evil and outrageous actions of those who wear their own politcal badge Amen! Our country HAS to get past these partisan divides or nothing will ever change. It doesn't matter if they are Democrat or Republican. Our system is rotten to the core. Sadly I don't see anything changes until much of the country is like New Orleans after Katrina, where animals were shooting at rescue workers for fun. Which is the outcome we are headed for if the people don't wake up.

How far do they go? When you have all the money, and alot of power, then what else do you need? If you sold your soul to get there, then it is payback time, perhaps? Our government is the perceived top of this lawlessness, but it is much higher and secret like masons, shriners and up to the illuminate? I understand you like to poo poo the tinfoil. But, each ticker , painstakenly prepared, and with as solid factual proofs, are headed to evil conclusions. I hope you can take the breaks you need to find good things, in your life. You work very hard on this ticker, and many of us really appreciate it and love you for it. ---------- Support locally, and **** off globally!

Karl, I'm not being snarky but where do you imagine you live? This is as it always has been. I think the only difference, at least that I can discern, is that the ability to find and distill information has increased exponentially over the last few years and that which was once unseen, is now uncovered daily. The rot and corruption is nothing new, the recent, forced "transparency" is. In general people in power are there for a reason, and it's not to help, protect or serve anyone but themselves and their pals at our expense. This is our human legacy, simple as that. Oh, and yes, the suckers (us) will suffer but we have before and sadly, we will again. People say we need a revolution but to me, that is just rearranging the deck chairs – meet the new boss… ---------- “I hope we shall... crush in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations which dare already to challenge our government in a trial of strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country.” — Thomas Jefferson, 1816 Sorry about that Tom

How far? http://online.wsj.com/article/SB12525949.... Through and through. The government is the felon, it does what it wants and does not care what the law is. Just look at the attitude of the last President: "it's just a ******ned piece of paper" - referring to the supreme law of the land, the Constitution. Quote:The latter is a dangerous question should the answer ever be determined to be the latter, as it would be an open declaration that there is no rule of law. It would instantly define the entire federal law enforcement apparatus, and those of the States and Localities that stood with the Federal Government, as nothing more than thugs with lots of guns. They certainly appear to have a different agenda, than defending our freedom, albeit, financial, physical, or spiritual. ---------- Freedom is chaos - give it to me anyway! Last modified:

That was OUT OF THE ****ING PARK!!!!! Been waiting for that Ticker for a long time, Karl. Quote:Has it happened in the United States already, but the people simply haven't woken up? Two years ago, five, ten I would have instantly dismissed such a proposition as preposterous. And the REASON your words carry the weight they do is because you are an HONEST man, who says EXACTLY what he thinks. New information means new conclusions. Being able to take in information contrary to one's "frame" is a rare skill often on display on these pages. It was a brilliant Ticker. I'll give it as much push as I'm able. ---------- "The real leech****s are not the welfare people, but the paper shufflers in privileged positions who are skimming the money flows." " ~ Bozonian

Read "The Law" by Ferederic Bastiat, published in 1850. Sadly what he stated then and his observations of France, are very true today of the U.S.. First sentence "The law perverted! The law-and, in its wake, all the collective forces of the nation-the law, I say, not only diverted from its proper direction, but made to pursue one entirely contrary!" The law is changed to allow for legal plunder/stealing. Agree with Stoverny, I don't see real change happening until we have a real crisis. Not the current one, that has been temporarily swept under the carpet.

I respectfully suggest that the rule of law went away years, and perhaps decades ago. One hears stories - stories that may have been embellished, stories that may have had details adjusted or added - that suggest a kleptocracy. They cannot be proved. They tend to be dismissed as political posturing or tinfoil conspiracies. Maybe they are. And yet, there is a persistent flow of smoke from many quarters. As I observe people, I note that the public is no better than its representatives. Perhaps people really do get the politicians they deserve, frightening though that prospect is. For example, GM offered a 60 day guarantee on their cars, as discussed in a thread on TickerForum. And I note posts discussing how the offer might be abused to get a free rental car for a couple months. The link is: http://www.tickerforum.org/cgi-ticker/ak.... It seems the only difference between the rulers and the ruled is one of scope. One theft is petty, the other grand in scale. But both are theft in fact, if not in written law. I think our course, our destiny, has been set. Call it momentum. And so we shall see the consequences of our decisions. Scary. ---------- Mala tempora currunt.

This country was started by a group of people who wanted to escape the snares of established oligarchism in Europe. They used the natural rights of humanity to create a document that formed a central government between states which served only to protect those rights for them. Somehow along the way that central government no longer served its purpose but instead usurped that purpose for another purpose, command and control. IMO this degradation must be addressed at the state's level, i.e. state sovereignty and nullification which would require a new currency agreement between the states since the FRN has become the drug which all addicts are hooked onto. Perhaps state issued credits, like the green backs but for each individual state? ---------- "In short, you are the definition of moral hazard." Senator Bunning to Bernanke

Status that would be a direct act of secession as The Constitution expressly forbids state issued currencies.

Good point Karl, how about another continental congress with a temporary act to allow for state issued credits based on state "sovereign" debt? In the U.S. states are sovereign entities. Somehow we have to detach from the national debt repudiate it or it will take down the U.S. and much of the known world with it, since the bezzle has its fangs sunk deep into the treasury. The fraud will just continue until the creature has sucked the host dry.

We REALLY don't need a concon in which everyone in charge (ie. those responsible) is allowed to re-write the laws. We need the law enforced. ---------- Rise up and take the power back, it's time that the fat cats had a heart attack, you know that their time is coming to an end, we have to unify and watch our flag ascend
