Didn't Ratigan report it, and isn't that why he got in trouble?

I guess Faber will be gone next.

Is Faber ok? Poor guy had to backpedal really fast. That's hard on the heels.

Just sent my image of a tea bag with the inscription "MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN' to POTUS, my two senators, and my representative (I also included a letter with explanation so as to not be too obscure). At the very least, should be an interesting experiment in grassroots/social networking. Shamless plug: http://www.reteaparty.com/2009/03/rick-s....

Granted the G20 protestors are getting more to the point, but we're not quite there in the U.S. yet: Some threw eggs at police and some chanted "build a bonfire, put the bankers on the top." (emphasis mine) from http://www.reuters.com/article/marketsNe....

Karl – Thank you opening your mind up for the rest of us to explore. It’s remarkable how far reaching the cancer of deceit runs in America. The thought of how many brainwashed people buy into our “leaders” BS rhetoric leads me to believe that there is just no hope for the few who can see through the smoke and mirrors. I believe that the media purposely focuses specifically on “negatives” of the G20 protesters to empathize with the J6P’s of the world, showing that they (media) are on the people’s side. The media’s attempt at establishing an emotional connection here is simply laughable to those who know better and is a clear attempt to misdirect and mislead the sheeple. I keep hearing that our time to get out and protest (here in America) is nearing via the various “Tea Parties” scheduled in local cities across the country. While this seems to be a good platform to show the amount of the public outrage, there seems to me a big problem arising with how these are being organized as well a potential missed chance at spreading the right message. 1) Problem: Tea parties catering to political preference thus immediately squashing attendance by 50%. I can’t think of a better way to stick a wedge in between people than by having events like these MC’d by people of political persuasion. This is about AMERICA and not about conservative vs. liberal. 2) Missed message: America vote with your wallets by STOPPING doing business with entities who received TARP MONEY. If there was mass exodus of funds from these financial institutions would not that send a stronger message to the clown car brigade on the hill? And this leads me to my point…….Karl has on numerous times pointed out the need to ax Gramm-Leach Biley act in order to return to financial sanity. There is absolutely no evidence pointing in the direction that the idiots in CONgress have any willpower to act here and do the right thing. This results in us (you and I) having to do the work for them. If there are enough folks willing to take their money elsewhere (lots of well capitalized local banks exist), we the people can essentially put the commercial banking portions of these entities out of business; forcing them to be either investments banks or commercial banks but NOT both. ---------- What wine goes with unemployment?

He does seem disgusted, his tone sounds like he would like to say a lot more, I bet there was a lot of editing to his piece before it hit the air.

The problem with this back handed bail out is that not only we will probably give back everything we got from this recent rally plus some as soon as this becomes common knowledge, next time we get another "positive" report from the banks, even if it is legit nobody will believe it. We will probably end up with several days when we have good news and the markets will tank on it.

It doesnt matter if anyone reported this fact or not. The fact that no MF in the main financial press HAMMERED this fact should be a crime. Just divert the attention of the pea brains to the bonus situation and dont drive home the fact that a problem 1000 times bigger is happening. Gotta go now. American Idol reruns start in a few.

Snow, first welcome... Second, you need to pay attention to where you're posting. You have placed at least two comments in threads unrelated to your post. Not to be a dick, but it makes them hard to read through and losses the message. Follow subject lines from the appropriate ticker post when you post, not just the next link to the forums...
