OMFG - That is the most appalling video I've ever seen J6P might begin to understand but I'm sick of the $30,000 for every man, women and child, I say it's more like $100,000 for every person that pays income tax. Lets set the record straight on that... ---------- Whenever destroyers appear among men, they start by destroying money, for money is men's protection and the base of a moral existence. Destroyers seize gold and leave to its owners a counterfeit pile of paper. Last modified:

i've said this before - until you have lived in the DC area you have no idea how clueless and incompetent and lazy most government workers are. they literally cant be fired and are paid based on seniority. its basically high class welfare. this chick really may be that stupid. but its possible she was put into that position because she is that stupid.

Excellent Ticker. But here is the problem without naming names. Congress is hopeless. The highest profile names really don't understand what is happening. Trust me, they don't. Anyone can comb through hours of video and MAYBE come up with a few names that seem to get it. But out of 535, I don't even think it is 53 that get it. But they were elected and their constituents are suffering the results.

Alan Grayson is my congressman. Florida's 8th. Newbie on the Hill so we don't know much about him, BUT from what I have seen/heard, he's nobody's fool. Very, very sharp. Both his parents were public school teachers. No silver spoon bonus baby. Call/fax/email his office even if he ain't your guy. He needs our support.

What a disgrace. No oversight at all. Of course the Fed isn't keeping track of their losses, that would involve mark to market accounting.

from WikipediaQuote:On May 5, 2009, in a Financial Services Committee question and answer session with Inspector General of the Federal Reserve Elizabeth A. Coleman, Grayson asked about the trillions of dollars lent or spent by the Federal Reserve and where it went, and the trillions of off balance sheet obligations. The Inspector General responded that she does not know and is not tracking where this money is. The exchange was posted on YouTube, receiving over 77,000 views in the first few days after posting. I think there is a deliberate attempt not to do "due deligence"> why I dont know>> perhaps if they say they dont know is better to look and sound stupid than to know and have to do something about what they found out> unless they themselves are being blackmailed or fed at the trough> as in investigating their own behavior or lack of behavior> perhaps they are arrogant> even if they dont do their job they wont get fired ( as in too important to fail) the citizens of this country have been too lax or apathetic> or just plain dont care> they will care when there is little to care about>

Excellent ticker, as is by now expected of you Karl. However, none of this crap is going to get fixed short of a scaled-up version of this: http://www.jpfo.org/filegen-a-m/athens.h.... Just so that the folks who work for lettered agencies of the government don't get too upset: I am NOT planning on starting such, NOR am I advising anyone to do so. No, in fact, I am ONLY advising people to obey the law - and if they don't like the law, or the manner in which it is being implemented, to peacefully use their right to voice their complaints and, if those complaints are not answered to any particular person's satisfaction then they should vote for someone in the next election whom they believe will do things the right way. Still, I am **almost** (though not quite) at the point where I wouldn't be too upset at such a thing starting, knowing that it would finish up largely the same way. Last modified:

And this is what I'm referring to when I tell people who swear up and down the FED is audited and I tell them the FED is NOT audited. This lady is a moron and obviously has no clue what she is doing or talking about. True oversight is limited on the FED because of the Federal Reserve Act. We either have to amend it like HR1207 or we have to kick the FED because this is ridiculous.

Elizabeth A. Coleman Elizabeth A. Coleman was appointed Inspector General for the Board effective May 6, 2007. In this role, Ms. Coleman leads a staff responsible for promoting economy, efficiency, and effectiveness within Board programs and operations. The Office of Inspector General (OIG) is also responsible for preventing and detecting waste, fraud, and abuse at the Board, among other duties. The OIG achieves its legislative mandate through audits, evaluations, investigations, legislative reviews, and by keeping the Chairman of the Board and Congress fully informed. Ms. Coleman joined the Board's OIG in 1989 as a senior auditor. She was promoted to program manager in 1999 and to senior program manager in 2001. She was appointed to the official staff in 2004, as the Assistant Inspector General for Communications and Quality Assurance. Over the last eight years, Ms. Coleman has worked closely with the Executive Council on Integrity and Efficiency, a professional organization of about thirty statutory Inspectors General who are appointed by their agency heads in certain designated federal entities, including the Board. Prior to joining the Board's staff, she was employed by the Government Accountability Office. Ms. Coleman has a BBA from James Madison University and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, Georgetown University. She also attended the Federal Reserve System’s Trailblazers Leadership Conference. Ms. Coleman is a Certified Information Systems Auditor. ---------- When the **** hits the fan I'll be sitting on the can When the whip comes down

That women would have been fired immediately after that testimony. These ****ing clueless ass idiots are being put in these positions for a reason! There really is no way out.

It is a great video, if only because her FIRST verbage is "umm" (a non-word) at the 0:20 mark, then she tosses in a "you know" within seconds. After that, she has to try and make it up ad-lib without a script. Classic stuff.

A stunning video--thanks for posting it. With all those dollars involved and no accountability I am equally stunned that this country/economy continues to hop along and that it hasn't defaulted (or other economic crash) by now.

I've been encouraging people to check if their representatives are co-sponsoring the HR1207, the Federal Reserve Transparency Act introduced by Ron Paul. Even the HuffPo liberals didn't shoot down the suggestion like they usually do with anything that has the slightest whiff of Republicanism (one person simply noted it was Ron Paul's bill, but didn't elaborate on why that is a good or bad thing). The bill is a step in the right direction, but will probably die in committee if Barney Frank has anything to say about it. http://www.ronpaul.com/on-the-issues/aud....

Okay, I am going to say it and hope it doesn't upset too many folks. The woman in this video could possibly qualify as a so-called AIRHEAD because after watching the video twice, I don't think she said anything of substance. To me, that is an AIRHEAD.
