WOW. If you (the administration) have to be wrong, nothing like being spectacularly wrong. just WOW. we call that:

That graph is something alright. But the BS artists are claiming that employment is a lagging indicator yada yada. The key issue is that either (a) the stimulus plan is not "trickling through", or (b) it is not going to help anyway, or (c) both. The biggest problem with that graph is that both of those lines were totally fictional to start with - if the Obama team had any sense they would have drawn a "best-case" and a worst-case curve for unemployment and then tried to make their claim about what their precious plan (stimulus, tax rebate, blowjobs whatever) can do to abate the problem. Anyway, they set themselves up for an Epic fail alright. This graph (assuming the blogger filled in the data right on it) should be on every major newspaper and they should be asking Gibbs or Obama about it pronto. 2009-06-09 15:39:56

Heh, I showed my SO this chart when it was posted the other day -- I think it's finally starting to sink in with her.

You gotta read FedUp more often. We posted this 4 days ago. Outrageous, isn't it? Speaking of SOs, mine works at a defense contractor and is stuck in a warehouse with a bunch of Obama supporters who have had the pleasure of a blown up version of that graph on the wall as of yesterday.

Yep, when the **** really hits the fan in our economy - what do we really need? That's right.. we need people tasked with counting other people while being paid by those other people. I think they'll find an excuse to NOT include the autoworkers and suppliers in the U-3 number. They'll have some excuse, but there's no way they're gonna allow a U-3 print of 1.5+ million a week for an extended period. ---------- It's justifiably immoral to try to deal in a moral fashion with an immoral entity.
