I think it's time for us to seriously organize and DO SOMETHING here. We're staring into the abysss. I've managed to convince many people of this fact but now what? It's clear that calling and writing gvmt won't do anything so I think this Tea Party business needs to come sooner rather than later. I can get at least 15 or 20 people there methinks.

What an amazing day, this all started at 1pm yesterday with a report that C and BAC were totally fine, then by 8:30 C was begging for help, and it just didn't let up! WOW and WOW!

Binney- Let's make it happen. At the very least, perhaps we can get enough people to walk into Schumer's NYC office and be heard. With a group of about 20 or so people we can probably get some attention that way.

Binney Phirang - I've done a fair amount of organizing in NYC, and know others who have done very big organizing in NYC. Permits I can probably get - Im very connected to the top tier of civil rights attorneys in the city - we get permits for stuff all the time. I'm serious. But I think a small protest will do very little. I'd rather hand out Ticker Guy print outs at Penn Station. Or go crash Schumer's office.

If I remember correctly from the FedUp NYC protest last April, you don't need a permit in NYC if you're under 20 people, won't be using amplified sound and won't be marching in the street. Need to double check the details, but I believe that's the gist of it. ---------- Droppin' off my keys in the jingle mail, **** an industry that's too big to fail. Folks all uptight about equity I'm chillin' in my rental with a 50" TV.

I don't understand the Government's inaction at this point. Do they understand the implications of what's lining up here? Are they ignoring what's lining up here and hoping it goes away? Is there something bigger out there that hasn't fallen yet and they're waiting for that? What is it?

The market blew past the ~7,400 resistance...I'm afraid your right, and we'll see a lot more downside. BAC was up ~14% at the open today, then got punished.. Dang. If people want to start organizing an independent tea party, i'd be game for going to Chicago early...I'm not sure we can wait another month and change...I can try and get support from people at my school (HAHA, fat chance). "I'd rather hand out Ticker Guy print outs at Penn Station." Not my kind of thing, too small and too esoteric. I'm into getting hundreds or hopefully a thousand or more people to show up. We do big marches, big take overs of space, music, banners, sound, and we get TV and the papers to show up. Dig the permit rule is 50 and its currently loosely enforced. however, if you want to do sound, occupy a park area, or other, you will want a permit to smooth things. Such an event usually has a large march attached and we don't ask for permits too much for those because we don't negotiate routs with cops (unless its a real pinch). But the lawyers will advise. They also supervise the event, as will Legal Aid.

I think handouts showing the bonuses the banksters got and the tax bill we got should suffice. As for a protest, I'm showing up clean-shaven and in a suit.
