Hey, does anyone have a chart of the USD/KRW?

Considering the depth of my ignorance of Forex, I have to ask this, I hope someone can help me understand. How does the Dollar getting stronger AND Open swap lines around the world spell out disaster? How does a strong dollar hurt us? Inflation, I understand, but otherwise? ---------- The banshee cry of obnoxious ****wits is permeating in from outside.

<<US futs usually follow the USD/JPY. Not tonight.>> They ALSO did not follow on Friday which was noted and is very unusual given the size of that Yen move on Friday. We also had that steep last minute drop here in US & in Europe Markets right at the close on Monday.

The tide is turning in USDJPY. It is beginning to act like a USD cross again, rather than like a JPY cross. And remember all that leveraged account volume we had before the crash last year is absent now. Hence, the safe haven flows are dominant.

Am I missing something? This is a 1% drop against the USD and a moderate drop in asian equities. We have seen much more volatile days. I mean, I get the fact that the divergences are behaving weird and how this is across the board. But what's with the talk of the end of the world? Last modified:

But if this is such a disaster shouldn´t the Asian markets and the US futures be tanking? This sure is a unusal move in the forex markets, but are we maybe overreacting here on TF? Or are the markets "underreacting"? Last modified:

Brewing some myself. Something's up for sure. Nat gas and oil very weak as well. We saw worse in October but something tells me the fact that we're back here at this stage and so quickly is very threatening.
