I would bet the bank run on LEH is already underway. If you had any significant funds there why would you even think twice about moving to a more stable IB? Looks like the premarket pop's fading. BSC's CEO made a similar statement - adequate liquidity - less than a week before their collapse. Curiosfsh, UK mortgage lender Bradford & Bingley stock took it in the shorts. They announced that they were short and would be diluting shares just like all these jokers have been doing. Instead of supporting the current stock price which is what has been happening it collapsed it. There was a good piece on Bloomberg about it, it did not go unnoticed in economic circles. If it starts happening to larger banks it means the game is up and we get into a very large death spiral situation. If the market tells the Banks we do not want your **** stock any more and current holders finally wake up and realize what these dilutions are doing to their holdings it is game over. If the Fed support is not enough and then on top of that the market will not help them raise capitol, what is next for them? Last modified:
