Is there a rice ETF

Yes I think it is JJA or JRA the problem is Rice is a small portion. I think the London Exchange has ETNs for single ag products, I know they have corn, not sure about rice. The problem for me was the counterparty risk since these are notes and they do not hold real assets ---------- That is the whole point of the unknown, well you don't know-- D. Ratigan 3/17/08

nope. I think RJA is the only one that has rice as a component. will try to remember to check on that one. Don't get overly concerned with one specific grain or ag commodity (within reason). remember this is a game of total calories divided by total people. There are premiums and discounts applied to each specific commodity based on location, diet, other uses, cultural factors. However substitutions are made. If you were starving to death would it matter if it was a bowl of rice or a loaf of bread in front of you? ---------- Throughout all scientific disciplines it is known that all debts must be paid to create a stable state. Fortunately humans have the ability to choose our debts and their settlement. Unfortunately we are choosing to not repay our debts which is resulting in the repayment schedule being chosen for us.
